Storyline
Tim Goodman gave up his dream of being a Pokémon trainer following the death of his mother and his estrangement from his father Harry, a police detective who moved to Ryme City, where humans and Pokémon live together in harmony and Pokémon battles are outlawed. After a failed attempt to catch a Cubone, Tim is informed by Harry's friend, Lieutenant Hideo Yoshida, that Harry was killed in a car accident.
